Former rising Democrat Party star and Hawaii congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard recently announced her departure from the Democratic Party in a formal video, causing uproar in the American media and political circles. Notably, with the mid-term elections less than a month away and the Democratic Party’s unfavorable ratings in the polls, Gabbard’s withdrawal represents quite a blow to the party.
The political parties in the United States are not Leninist parties. One may join or leave a party as he wishes. There is no introducer, no organizational approval, and certainly no gangster blood oath like the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) “death to the whole family for betrayal.”…
