She told CNN that her elders “take a special place in my heart,” and that she shares a friendly relationship with one particular customer named Helen Iwanski, 89. “Each person has an intricate part of your life,” Lemon reflected, “and you never know how important they be.” To help Iwanski grip her mail, Lemon got into the habit of wrapping the elderly customer’s letters with elastic bands.
